Amaro tasting on April 30th:
Amari are deliciously bitter Italian liqueurs, infused with herbs, roots, and bark, and classically used as a digestivo after the meal. While an amaro is not necessarily for everyone, their potent flavors have become increasingly popular with both mixologists and many spirits aficionados. For this tasting, we'll be trying both brandy- and wine-based amari from throughout the Italian peninsula with a range of flavor profiles. Featured spirits will include: Campari, Fernet Branca, Amaro Montenegro, Rabarbaro Zucco, and Cardamaro.
