The Refectory Named One of the Top 100
Restaurants of 2011 by OpenTable Diners
Columbus, Ohio —
December 13, 2011 — The Refectory Restaurant and Bistro announced today
that it has been named a winner of OpenTable Diners’ Choice Awards for the top
100 best restaurants in the United States.
The only restaurant to appear from central Ohio, the list of winners is
derived from more than 10 million reviews submitted by OpenTable diners for
more than 12,000 restaurants in all 50 states and the District of Columbia.
“We are very grateful and humbled by this
acknowledgment from OpenTable diners,” said Kamal Boulos, manager for 34 years
and owner for the last 20 years. “We
are so pleased to know that these guests thoroughly enjoyed their overall
experience at The Refectory and gave us such high marks. This reflects the consistent efforts of our
staff to pursue excellence in all we do to serve our guests. We also want to congratulate
the other restaurants in Ohio which were also part of the list, including
Orchids at Palm Court in Cincinnati and Chez Francois in Vermillion.”

The Refectory serves dinner Monday – Thursday from 5:30 and Friday
and Saturday from 5:00 pm. The Lounge opens at 4:30 Monday through Friday with
reduced price Appetizers and drink specials.
Experience the lighter side of The Refectory. The Refectory Bistro is a three-course
Bistro menu which changes every week. Perfect portions for a lighter, more
casual dinner at an everyday price! The Bistro Menu is served Monday – Thursday
from 5:30 – 8:30 and Friday and Saturday from 5:00 to 5:45. The Refectory also
has Private Banquet Rooms for seating from 6 to 60 and also offers Catered
Dinners and Hors d’oeuvre Receptions in your home or office from 8 guests up to
350 guests.
The Chef Richard Blondin has been with The Refectory for 19
years and Business Manager Sandra Losco and GM Jeff Elasky have been there for
